This is a tertiary education in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, that was established in 1992 with a previous name the Akademi Maritim Soerjopranoto. There have been more than 600 graduates that found jobs as the government officers, member of police, mariners and in the army. Besides, most of the graduates have worked in private factories, especially in relation to export-import, forwarding and ferry services. It is the only maritime academy that located in the midst of agricultural area of Yogyakarta, an in land area, but has provided itself with a multi-media communication system that makes it possible to get involved in tele-conference
